Heart Safe Clinical Academy exists to make life-saving knowledge and emotional well-being accessible to everyone in the community.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we are dedicated to providing free and low-cost workshops on basic life support, first aid, mental health awareness, and personal safety to schools, families, community groups, and small businesses.
Our goal is to break down barriers to health education—whether that’s teaching a child how to call for help in an emergency or equipping a local business with the skills to respond to a mental health crisis.
We believe that no one should be left behind when it comes to understanding how to save a life or support someone in need. Through community-led training, outreach events, and partnerships, we create safer, more confident, and more connected communities across Gloucestershire and beyond.

New! - Stop the Bleed!
Our Stop the Bleed course is a high-impact, 3-hour emergency skills workshop designed specifically for non-medical professionals, such as door supervisors, pub and nightclub staff, and venue safety personnel, or anyone who may come into contact with traumatic injuries. This hands-on training teaches you how to recognise life-threatening bleeds, apply effective bleeding control measures such as wound packing and tourniquets, and the use of radio communication, to coordinate an emergency response in high-pressure situations.
Using realistic case scenarios based on local incidents, this course empowers you to act confidently and quickly before emergency services arrive. Endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons (England),clinical educators and frontline trauma specialists, this training meets key safety requirements for high-footfall public areas & venues.
